Donations & Book Buy Backs

Yestorday I went to the book-store and received cash from a buyback of my Anatomy book.
With buy-backs its great because you get cash in return and you can buy another book for your next class!

Today was beautiful! Gathered alot of clothing among my family and friends and put together a whole lot of bags adding up to the number of 600 bags ive ever donated or helped donate!

People forget that summer is coming up, homeless need a change of clothing too! People usually think to donate around christmas, which is absolutely great! BUT please keep in mind it doesnt stop just there!

Computer Applications

We just completed the Excel Chapters and had a test. I think Excel believe it or not was the hardest. Alot of people actually don't know how to use it or maybe do but just not all the crazy things you can do! I learned so much. Making graphs, charts, but all to fancy professional layouts that just blew me away! Taking chapters on word and powerpoint were easy because I've been using those programs for years but, excel was a challange!

Is everyone ready for Spring classes?
I hope so, classes are pretty much filled up!
SOOOO.. HURRY UP!

  1. Yes buyback is awesome, but it's more awesome online! Because you get more money back than at your campus bookstore. The campus bookstores screw you twice. They charge too much for the books initially, and then they give you very little back when you sell to them. That's why I now use http://www.bigwords.com for my purchasing and selling back (and also renting if you are so inclined) They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers and rental sites to find you the best prices. And at the end of the semester you can use them to search for resellers to sell your book to. All the search results are organized by price so you can buy your books for the lowest prices and sell them back for the highest.

    Hope this was of help!
