SNOOK Out The Better Look

OLIVE her style!

( I LOVE HER STYLE ) [ Photographed: TOP: Olivia Sharpe BOTTOM: Snookie ]

Fashion Forward took a closer step into the lives of New Jersey fame stars Olivia Sharpe and born as Nicole but known as MTV’s Snookie. They may have similarities but when it comes to talent of course New Jersey’s Gatsby salon makeup artist takes the cake. She may be one slice of a double layered triumph masterpiece but she defiantly is the piece that holds the best looking flower and the extra icing we love! Both a little feisty but also both have a friendly, fun loving personality. We all know Snooks goes big and parties hard but does she have a job? Olivia holds her ground with a career as a makeup artist and also earns some cash by being herself on the STYLE network series Jerseylicious. Yes, she is part of the drama side of the

show with rival Tracey but, holds the glass of class much better. Her wild and loud fashion is why we love her. She can handle herself in a cat fight and also knows when to back down and be the better person and best of all, she knows how to respectfully have her cake and eat it too!

All you fashion majors - check out Olivia and the whole Gatsby Crew on Jerseylicious!

College Dreams Come True

Lately since the weather has been warm everyone's been having BBQs and or get togethers.

The town I came from and went to high school in had much to celebrate lately- as we saw and gainned news of one of our own - Dumont NJ's Sean Lissemore who went to college at William & Mary has been drafted into the NFL football world - as a new impressive defense tackle football player for the Dallas Cowboys! Seventh-round pick Sean Lissemore, a defensive end out of William & Mary, was a track athlete and wrestler in high school. "Wrestling is one of the best sports possible for football and defensive line specifically," Lissemore said. "It really helps with flexibility, strength, endurance, mental toughness and hand work especially." If it wasn't cool enough that before the draft he had the opportunity to train with the giants, the home town favorite!

For me to have seen and watched Sean in highschool play, I was so happy for him that he now has reached his dream and its now coming true. Its amazing and when something like that hits so close to home, make you think wow - really if you put your heart and soul into it, it can happen!

From the offical site of the NFL Draft: Pick Analysis: Slightly undersized, Lissemore has outstanding speed for a defensive tackle. He also has above average quickness, and will have a chance to compete for a backup spot in Dallas.

Here are some things heard and seen :

From Consensus Draft Services.
"Thick, raw-boned street brawler who is naturally strong and a bit nasty. Does not look all that athletic but can move. Plays better than his athletic numbers and has some room to grow. Penetrates unless double-teamed, and is a good bull rusher. Stalemates OGs his size. Good motor. Pile maker.
Not all that big for an interior D-line candidate. ... Has a little upside but will never be more than a journeyman. ... Work ethic and speed gives him a chance."

From CBS Sports.
"Impressed scouts at their recent Pro Day. The 6-3, 297-pounder was twice timed in the low 4.8s in the 40-yard dash, 4.27 in the short shuttle and a 7.57 in the 3-cone drill. He also showed good explosiveness with a 30-inch vertical jump, 9-3 broad jump and lifting the bar 26 times. Lissemore is hardly a workout warrior. He earned first team all-conference honors with 66 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two interceptions as a senior. He also stood out at the Texas vs. Nation practices. Lissemore has already gained the interest of several clubs."

Good Luck to Sean and his future in the NFL! Bless You!

Another day

Sorry, I have been MIA!

Lately, I've been trying to enjoy the weather when it is warm and beautiful.

I'd go to the parks and surround myself by nature. I hope you all are doing the same! GO OUT AND ENJOY IT!

April 11th was my step-father's birthday so- I took him out for a Greek dinner.

Also, that day sadly a close friend of mine's boyfriend's parents made the news.

The details are unfortuante and very horrible.

Rest In Peace

Debbie Shanley

..
As for the family and my dear friend - stay strong, love you with all my heart, our love support and prayers are with you always.

Summer has arrived! (:

Summer weather has beautifully arrived in full action this week, and i love it!

Lately, I been spending my time off - with my friend Corey and her baby Kayla.

The other day we went to the Van Saun Park/Zoo! It was so much fun and very hot out!

For reasons I don't know, the zoo was free that day. The baby Kayla really loved the prarrie dogs most, it was the cutest thing to watch ever! Not all the animals were out and not everything was ready - I am guessing they just opened up the park that day or that week.

I took so many photographs of the animals and kayla's first time at the zoo. I had such a blast. Its always a thrill to see live animals up so close! Once I upload them and find my camera cable I will upload! (: promise! But, I deff. recommend going to the zoo in the afternoon one day!

An awesome show to check out online dealing with students, young drama.

Easter Weekend

HAPPY EASTER everyone.
  1. Time off has been not so relaxing for me to be honest. I been taking care of my two dogs and being mommy while my family is out and about due to work arrangements lately. It's been very crazy. The weather started becoming so bright and just simply beautiful. Yesterday was the start and today its also again in the 70's. I'm so happy!

Yesterday, was Easter Sunday- First thing in the morning I picked up my stepfather from NYC where he works and we went home got ready and set off for the open road. I had all the goodie-bags and baskets I made for my younger cousins all set. We drove up to my Aunt Lisa's grave and met up with my step grandparents and shared a few smiles, laughs, tears and prayers. Holidays were her thing so its very hard to go through family gatherings with out her. When we arrived someone had dug up a little and put woodchips, fresh dirt in a shape of a square and made a beautiful garden of flowers and crosses in front of her head stone. I added my angel to the collection and smiled. I miss her so much. xox RIP AUNT LISA.

After we went up to upstate New York where my cousins and uncle live for the family gathering in celebration of Easter. It was nice and the weather held up lovely. I still couldnt help but look around and feel that Lisa was still there. It gave me great comfort.

Since the weather has been great, I been taking the dogs on walks early in the morning and just playing with them outside as much as possible. Boy, do they love it!

Hope you all have a wonderful break and a good Easter with loved ones.
